How do I Collect Footprints? Take a high resolution digital photo of a footprint on a birth certificate or an inked print.  Black, baby-safe ink works best on plain white paper. Take a few and photograph the best one. Fill the frame as much as possible for highest resolution. Sharp photos with good lighting work best.
